Jillian graduated magna cum laude from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Nutrition in 2009. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Since completing her education, Jillian has worked in the outpatient department for a local community hospital system, specializing in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports medicine. She has completed continuing education courses in manual therapy (Institute of Manual Therapy in Woburn and North American Institute of Manual Therapy), Graston Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Postural Restoration Institute among others. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and became board-certified in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2018.

Jillian has a special interest in injury prevention in athletes of all levels, from young gymnasts to weekend warriors. She has a firm belief that no injury should keep a person from doing what they love, and with carefully prescribed corrective exercise, manual techniques, and activity modification, the sky is the limit.

Outside of her work, Jillian enjoys running, weight-lifting, yoga, trying out different local fitness studios, boating, and cooking.
